Fifth Annual West Coast Trade Workshop

February 26 – 27, 2016 at UC Berkeley

The fifth annual West Coast Trade Workshop will be hosted by University of California, Berkeley, with the support of the Clausen Center for International Business and Policy. The goal of the conference is to take advantage of the proximity of many scholars in international economics on the West Coast. The conference will take place on February 26th and 27th at UC Berkeley. It will start with lunch on the 26th and we will end the day with lunch on the 27th.We plan to have 8 papers on the program, with one slot dedicated to the best graduate student submission. The 2016 Best Graduate Student Submission: Obie Porteous, “High Trade Costs and Their Consequences: An Estimated Dynamic Model of African Agricultural Storage and Trade”.The Clausen Center and Giannini Foundation will provide all conference meals, as well as hotel accommodations for all presenters. Additional funding for hotel accommodations will be available for approximately 10 non-presenters.
