Picture
The Conference is the Berkeley Haas’ Latin and Hispanic Business Association most important event, contributing to fulfill its vision of becoming a leading organization inside our university. It is the opportunity to increase the relevance of Latin American business issues among MBA students and the larger UC Berkeley and San Francisco Bay Area environment.
Held annually at Haas since 2010, the Conference is a full-day event, featuring highly respected business and political leaders who share their experiences and insights. It is a space for learning, sharing and debating about current trends and business opportunities.

About the Latin and Hispanic Business Association (LAHBA)
LAHBA is one of the largest student-run associations of the Haas School of Business. LAHBA unites students from all backgrounds who share an interest in Latin America, organizing and sponsoring activities to heighten the cultural, economic, and political awareness of the region at Haas and UC Berkeley.

Every year the Latin American and Hispanic Business Association (LAHBA) groups approximately 100 students with a wide variety of interests and a multi-disciplinary background from Latin America and other countries.

If you are interested in sponsoring LAHBA or participating in future LAHBA conferences and events, you can contact us at lahba@haas.berkeley.edu

BRIDGE

BRIDGE

UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business presents Bridge, formerly the Asia Business Conference. Celebrating its 16th year, Bridge is the premier student-led conference that connects leading industry professionals, thought leaders, and students seeking greater involvement in the most dynamic region of the world. This year’s theme, Asia I/O, will explore the bidirectional flow of talent, strategy, and scale, which are imperatives for incumbents and challengers looking to localize in Asia and bring ideas to the rest of the world.

As technological innovation, access to capital, and operational excellence are enhanced at unprecedented rates, the ability to connect becomes of greater strategic necessity. From buyers and sellers to investors and entrepreneurs, a permanent bridge in and out of Asia will further enable an already interconnected world. Join us on Friday, March 4, 2016

CrowdBerkeley: 3rd Annual Academic Symposium on Crowdfunding

Our 3rd annual academic symposium on crowdfunding will take a global look at the developing phenomena of social finance for SMEs and Innovation - whether strictly “crowdfunding” or more broadly the application of social finance mechanisms including Peer-to-Peer lending, Peer-to-Business lending, and all other forms of crowdfunding and crowdfund investing. Since our 2013 conference, the number of platforms has more than doubled, and despite significant delays in enacting rules to allow equity crowdfunding in the United States, many nations have adopted laws and rules to allow crowdfunding.
